Dr. Sridhar Komarneni

Dr. Sridhar Komarneni is a Professor of Clay Mineralogy and a highly cited researcher at The Pennsylvania State University. He conducts research on synthesis and processing of nanophases and nanocomposites by sol-gel and hydrothermal processing, new materials preparation and characterization, crystal chemistry of clays and zeolites and chemistry of hydrous metal oxides in relation to cation separations and purification, water sorption and desorption, nuclear and hazardous waste disposal, and kinetics and thermodynamics of cation exchange processes in minerals. He has published over 420 refereed papers and edited or written 13 books. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Porous Materials.
