Dr. Makoto Nanko
 Dr Makoto Nanko is an associate professor of Nagaoka University of Technology, a Japanese Materials Researcher, a Member of the Japan Institute of Metals, the Ceramic Society of Japan, the Electrochemical Society. In 2000, he was awarded the Young Researcher Award from Japan Institute of Metals.
Dr Makoto Nanko spent the years 1995-2001 as an assistant professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology at Tokyo. His research interests included materials physical chemistry at high temperatures, especially, sintering phenomena and high-temperature oxidation of metals and ceramics, and development of high-performance porous materials.
