Prof. Ana M. Segadães

Prof. Ana M. Segadães is Associate Professor at the University of Aveiro, since 1991.

She earned her PhD degree at the University of Sheffield on the work she did on Phase Equilibrium in Basic Refractories (which was awarded the Berthold Eichler Memorial Prize). Current research interests still include Phase Diagrams and Refractories, and also cements, combustion synthesis of ceramic oxide powders, powder packing and processing, design of experiments with mixtures (response surfaces), and reuse and recycling of industrial waste and sub-products.
