| The Timken Company, probably best known for it bearings, have also been actively researching and developing lubricants for the last 70 years. Work from this division has yielded a calcium sulfonate complex grease specifically formulated for protecting steel and aluminium mills under intense operating environments. The premium mill grease is available in three grades, NLGI grades 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0. They have been designed to provide a barrier to protect from water and hence oxidation and corrosion, while maintaining optimal lubricating properties.
