| The FT4 Powder Rheometer was recently launched by Freeman Technology. It uses patented technology to provide comprehensive data on powder flow properties. This rheometer measures both axial and rotational forces generating sensitive and reproducible measurements offering an insight into the characteristics and behaviour of powders. Dry and wet powders can be evaluated in terms of each of the key variables such as aeration, consolidation and moisture content. Applications include formulation development for new materials, handling and process optimisation and providing quality control standards. |
