Samples

Samples can be cut or turned to size. Minimum sample size 30mm diameter / square.

Analysis Software

The XRF uses Super Q software for the analysis of metals. Our capabilities cover all of the common elemental requirements for the list of accredited alloy types detailed.

Advantages of XRF Analysis

The XRF is considered more stable than optical emission spectrometry for the analysis of higher concentration of alloying elements such as Cr, Ni and Mo in metals, and is sometimes preferred as the analysis method.

Materials Accredited

  • Titanium alloys
  • Stainless steels
  • Cast irons
  • Copper alloys
  • Aluminium alloys (wrought and chill cast Only)
  • Nickel alloys
  • Cobalt alloys

Applications
