Metallisation Release New Thermal Spray Systems Based on The Arc 140 System

Metallisation has recently released two new variants of the Arc 140 System. The Arc 140E (engineering) was launched to offer an affordable, electric drive unit in an integrated package for the engineering sector. Features of the Arc 140E include:

A medium capacity, lightweight arc spray system. The system is lightweight since a unique, flexible drive system obviates the need for a motor on the pistol

A proven constant geometry head that ensures reliable alignment of the wire for long periods, giving consistent spray quality and ease of maintenance.

A new, powerful, precisely-controlled electric drive unit (AC inverter). The benefits of this are repeatable and consistent wire speed control, which gives a consistent spray, and soft-start gives smooth strike-up. It is lubricated for life, and a sealed motor provides reliability in industrial environments.

Multiple wire sizes, without changing feed rollers.

The second variant, the Arc 140GP (general purpose) covers anti-corrosion and some engineering applications, and has been introduced to provide an affordable, electric drive unit option to the already successful lightweight, long reach Arc 140 system, with excellent flexibility for difficult-to-access areas.
