The Pegasus® HT TOFMS system combines GC-TOFMS technology with advanced ChromaTOF®software to provide an unparalleled increase in laboratory productivity. Full-mass range spectral acquisition rates of up to 500 spectra/second allow for significant reduction in chromatographic analysis time. The introduction of the unique Dynamic Signal Tracking (DST) system further enhances Pegasus' dynamic range, spectral integrity, and overall system robustness. Exclusive automated data processing capabilities minimize tedious manual manipulations and enhances data quality. Completely automated qualitative sample characterization, quantitative analysis, and/or inter-sample measurements can be completed in a fraction of the time required by manually-oriented processing systems.

The Pegasus HT also offers you sophisticated data mining algorithms that automatically detect and extract previously unobserved analytes buried beneath sample matrix or other interfering analytes. With LECO GCxGC you are able to detect hundreds-to-thousands more compounds than previously seen using conventional GC. Separations, which previously resulted in dozens or hundreds of peaks, now yield thousands of individual components from complex mixtures.
