3300 Series Starter Packages from Instron – Ideal for Establishing a Mechanical Testing Laboratory

Instron, a leading provider of testing equipment designed to evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components, provides affordable tensile and compression testing solutions with its 3300 Series Starter Packages.  To support the “start up” of laboratory and manufacturing testing processes, these packages provide immediate results by performing in-house testing, increasing productivity and processes while reducing costs.

The 3300 Series Starter Packages can be equipped with Instron’s standard Series IXs software or advanced Bluehill® software. For computer-free testing, the new 3300 TouchPanel is also available. With software, users select pre-designed test methods or create new methods to meet customized testing requirements or the most stringent ASTM, ISO, EN, BS or DIN standards.  Outputs can be supplied in variety of formats, including printed, MS Word or PDF.  For users requiring quick test results, the TouchPanel offers a manual, easy-to-use process for generating output that can be printed or saved to a USB Jumpdrive.

Regardless of the user interface selected, the friendly design of the 3300 Series allows for quick set-up and versatility. For future testing needs, a large selection of grips and fixtures are available. Instron also offers its line of extensometers for strain measurements. Safety features include ball screw covers to ensure longer machine life and operator protection.  In addition, the 3300 Series testers are available in four colors: teal green, cobalt blue, charcoal gray and magenta red.
