These thermocouples are used for measurement of temperature up to 1600°C plus in kilns, furnaces and flues etc. The industrial ceramic thermocouples are offered in types K and J with an impervious aluminous porcelain sheath or type R and S with an impervious re-crystallised alumina sheath. A 100mm long stainless steel support tube is fitted to a weatherproof connection head. The thermocouples shown below are generally ex stock although other dimensions are available on request and can be made up within a few days.
