HPR-40 DEMS System - Solutions for Dissolved Gas Analysis and Off-gas Analysis in Electrochemistry

The Hiden HPR-40 DSA Membrane Inlet Mass Spectrometer (MIMS) is a compact bench-top gas analysis system built for offering real-time quantitative analysis and monitoring of dissolved/evolved gases. It is an ideal solution for dissolved gas analysis and off-gas analysis in electrochemistry.

The HPR-40 DSA MIMS is provided with a range of Differential Electrochemical Mass Spectrometry (DEMS) cells for differential electrochemistry mass spectrometry. The DEMS cells include a nano porous membrane interface for rapid response in-situ determination of volatile and gaseous electrochemical reactants, reaction intermediates and products in real time.

DEMS is an analytical method that integrates electrochemical half-cell experimentation with mass spectrometry. It allows in situ mass resolved determination of volatile or gaseous electrochemical reactants, reaction intermediates and products in real time.

Applications

  • DEMS

Features

The main features of the HPR-40 DSA MIMS are as follows:

  • Analysis of dissolved species with mass range 200 amu (300 amu option)
  • Replaceable nanoporous membrane
  • Vitreous Carbon – User coatable working electrode
  • Interface to the Hiden HPR-40 DSA mass spectrometer
  • Four ports for extra electrodes

Software

The HPR-40 DSA MIMS is supplied with MASsoft Professional software. The software is compatible to Windows 8 and Windows 10 and allows control of the instrument via RS232, USB 2.0, or Ethernet. It offers full I/O for data output and for reading data from external devices for integration and display with mass spectrometer data.
