The machine has an operating range from 120 lbf to 60,000 lbf and maintains an accuracy of +/- 0.5% of the displayed load across this range. A variety of options exist for the 60,000 lbf Super L. These include a compression only model, fully open crossheads to allow easy sample loading, extended columns and/or screws to accommodate larger samples, hydraulic grip actuation for quicker and simpler sample loading, a wide base model and a selection of test control options from manual control to automatic, pc based, operation.
