Measuring current distribution through anodes can often be a difficult undertaking; traditional measuring devices can often be quite cumbersome, time consuming and unnecessarily precise even when the objective is only to take a quick measurement. VHE has designed a new breed of current measurement instruments designed to be easy to operate, lightweight and quick.
The Anode Current Meter from VHE is a lightweight, portable instrument. The sensor head is positioned against the anode stem, and the volt-drop across two probes is displayed on the integral meter in real-time as the equivalent current, providing information on the conductor status.
VHE's Anode Current Meter is scaled 0-15 kA; other scales are available to order. The handle is a plastic-coated light-weight aluminium tube providing both strength and durability.
