Background
Dr Wei Min Huang is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical
and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has
16 years of experience on shape memory materials (alloys, polymers and composites).
Apart from these, he is also interested in many other advanced materials, new
technologies (such as thin films, MEMS, micro/nano patterning) and new phenomena
(e.g., the size effect in indentation test), etc.
In addition to co-edit a book (Thin Film Shape Memory Alloy, Cambridge University,
2009), he has published over 80 papers in journals, such as Journal of Materials
Chemistry, Applied Physics Letters, and Journal of Applied Physics, and has
been invited to review manuscripts from 42 international journals and proposals
from American Chemical Society and Hong Kong Research Grants Council, and is
currently on the editorial board of four international journal.
