Tensile Testing Using Mecmesin MultiTest 25-xt Test System

This video shows the testing of samples using Mecmesin MultiTest 25-xt force testing stand to establish elongation under load and breaking strain. The samples are clamped using plane grips which are then stretched to 100mm per minute. The elongation and the force applied can be recorded at up to 1000 times per second.

After the test the calculated can be made on the collected data and the results are displayed on the touch-screen or saved and exported for statistical purposes. The built-in detector in MultiTest 25-xt senses when the sample has broken and the traveling crosshead is sent back to the 'home' position ready for the next sample.

The MultiTest 25-xt and Emperor software has been superseded by the OmniTest Touch universal testing machine and VectorPro software.

Run Time – 2:02 minutes.
