The Nanosight LM20 Nanoparticle Analysis System

Nanosight have developed a unique technique for detecting and viewing nanoparticles in real time using laser light. Jeremy Warren explains how it work and the key components to their system.

The technique can detect nanoparticles between 10and 1000nm and uses laser scattering to detect brownian motion of the particles.

The technique is robust and easy to use and is useful for:

  • General characterization
  • Toxicity of nanoparticles
  • Counting of nanoparticles for vaccines
