HR/AM Mass Spectrometer from Thermo Scientific

In this video, Zhiqi Hao, a senior scientist of protein mass spectrometry, delivers a detailed lecture on a technical poster about the Thermo Scientific Q Exactive hybrid quadrupole-Orbitrap mass spectrometer.

This spectrometer is mainly employed for routine identification of peptide and targeted quantification of peptide.

With the help of TMT-labeled E. coli digests, the accuracy and precision of discovery-based quantification were examined. The linear dynamic range and sensitivity of high resolution, accurate-mass (HR/AM) targeted quantification were evaluated using peptide standards spiked into a complex yeast digest background.
