Zwick’s Three-Point Flexure Test on Sandwich Paper Material

This video shows Zwick Roell’s three-point flexure test on sandwich paper material. The three-point flexure tests are usually carried out using Zwick’s 5 kN tensile testing machine.

Using ASTM D 790-03, the flexure test is performed at 2mm/min loading rate and at room temperature. The flexure test results showed that the key failure mechanism in the sandwich paper material in three-point bending is due to the cork core shear mechanism.

Run Time – 0:52min
