Webbing Tensile Test Using Admet’s eXpert 2655 Testing Machine

This video demonstrates a webbing tensile test using Admet’s eXpert 2655 universal testing machine. The eXpert 2655 testing machine is a floor-standing model having a maximum load capacity of 150kN. This testing machine is employed for 20,000 pound capacity webbings.

In this test, a webbing is pulled apart at a constant speed rate of 508mm/min until it breaks. Then the force required to break the webbing sample and the amount of elongation needed to stretch the material before breaking are measured.
