The nanoRam Handheld Raman Spectrometer from B&W Tek
Enrique Lozano from B&W Tek shows us their nanoRam, Raman spectrometer, a portable/handheld instrument that is simple to operate and provides results in seconds. It can be used to analyze powder, liquid and gel samples.
Users can import libraries of chemicals, which can be continuously updated and used to compare and identify materials of interest and unknown samples. The nanoRam also features wireless connectivity for library/database updating or remote maintenance from the manufacture.
The in-built battery can see the nanoRam operate for 5 hours continuously or 2 days discontinuous, at which point the battery can easily be changed so operation can be continued.
