GF40 Series Thermal Mass Controllers from Brooks Instrument
Brooks Instrument manufacture a wide range of thermal mass flow controllers. Nigel Glover quickly runs us through some of their range and introduces us to the new GF40 series thermal mass flow controllers with multi-gas control. This feature allows them to make changes to process gases during a a single run. In doing so, it can makes adjustments based on the different properties of the gas to ensure the correct fow rates are maintained for a given gas at any given stage in the process. Flow rates can be controlled in the ration 3:1 and the units also cater for 125 different gases.
The GF40 series mass flow controllers also come with the ability to communicate with a PC allowing external/remote control.
