Sigma-Aldrich has launched a "Virtual Stockroom" designed to provide customers with online convenience and a unique and interactive Sigma-Aldrich experience. Designed to resemble an actual laboratory stockroom (attendant included), the site allows customers to access products, programs, and services visually, with a single mouse click.
This innovative new web tool provides customers with an easy, fun way to find the products and services they need most often. It contains some of Sigma-Aldrich's most popular products, including a full line of biological buffers, solvents listed by grade, and most of the more commonly used chemicals and equipment required for busy laboratories everywhere.
"The stockroom offers access to useful ordering tools like our 'My Favorites' program where customers can build a personalized product list for easy ordering," commented Pat Higgins, Technical Marketing Specialist at Sigma-Aldrich. "It also offers a Chemical Structure Search, which allows customers to search Sigma-Aldrich's extensive catalog by chemical structure, as well as several other reference aids."
All these products and services are presented in an animated, fun, easily navigated site staffed by Simon the Lab Rat, the virtual stockroom attendant.
