The new Smart VacPrep from Micromeritics is an advanced high-throughput sample preparation system with six independently controlled ports.
Throughout preparation, samples may be added or removed from degas ports without disturbing the treatment of other samples. Degassing automatically terminates when the samples have completed all programmed steps.
The degas program may be started or terminated by using software installed on the computer attached to the analysis instrument, or with push-buttons on the front panel of the Smart VacPrep.
This unique ‘Rapid-Start’ mode on each port increases efficiency by giving you the ability to walk up to the instrument, attach the sample tube with heating mantle, and immediately start degassing a sample.
The Smart VacPrep software includes a set of default, as well as programmable, ramp and temperature parameters. SOP methods can be created through customizable degassing
protocols with Windows-based® software. The Smart VacPrep is compatible with Micromeritics 3FlexTM, ASAP® 2460, TriStar® II, and TriStar® II Plus.
