IPSEN Hold Successful Atmosphere Furnace Workshop in Mexico

IPSEN recently held another very successful Atmosphere Furnace Workshop in Mexico, this time in cooperation with the Carburizing and Project Departments of GKN Driveline Celaya. During the workshop, 15 enthusiastic attendees had an opportunity to learn about the newest innovations in furnace technology through interesting, specialized lectures .

Attendees came from GKN, TSP, Tremec, Especialidades Termicas and Valeo. All were impressed by the high quality and energy efficiency of IPSEN products in the GKN Mexico plant. GKN Driveline Celaya is operating a heat treatment installation with a very high level of automation.

The newest innovations on the field of atmosphere technology were presented to the IPSEN workshop participants through game-changing papers including:

  • HybridCarb: reducing protective gas consumption and CO2 emissions by 90%
  • SuperQuench: increasing productivity and quench uniformity for the toughest materials
  • Recon III Burner Systems: improving efficiency by 40% and providing longer burner life
  • Muffle system: enabling superior uniformity and repeatability
