Following recent joint development, Malvern Instruments Insitec on-line particle size analyzer will be exhibited on the Sturtevant Inc. booth at Interphex 2011 (March 29-31, New York). The Insitec will be displayed together with a Sturtevant Mill and Schenck Accurate Feeder as the first time introduction of ARTMiS, a new Automated RealTime Milling System.
This novel combination offers unprecedented control of the milling process, using laser diffraction to monitor particle size in real time. Simple closed loop functionality provides feed rate adjustments for consistent product quality and improved yield without operator involvement and regardless of the raw feed variations or mill conditions.
