Vapore has selected Makrolon 6457 polycarbonate from Bayer MaterialScience for its new MyPurMist sinus therapy device. The high-performance and low-viscosity characteristics have made Makrolon an ideal choice for MyPurMist.
The Makrolon 6457 is a tough and stiff material and has a 3 mm thickness. It is flame retardant and effectively deflects heat.
SMC uses injection molding technique on the Makrolon 6457 polycarbonate plastic to produce transparent blue housing. SMC is responsible for complete assembly of the MyPurMist equipment. Bayer MaterialScience offers support to SMC and also provides polycarbonate material and safety compliance certificate.
Vapore’s over-the-counter (OTC) device brings a patented technology to the consumer market. The device is portable and can be used easily by both adults and children. It is an ideal substitute for OTC drugs and humidifiers. The MyPurMist sinus therapy device employs Vapore’s Capillary Force Vaporizer technology and ceramic materials for instant conversion of water into vapor.
