iPolyCond Project Webinar Announced

Published on September 14, 2011 at 8:47 PM

iSmithers, the information business within Smithers Rapra, announces the date for the iPolyCond Training Webinar.

Conductive polymer-based composites are breakthrough materials that will help to support the transformation of plastics processing sector. These eco-friendly and cost-effective plastic composites were developed through the iPolyCond project and protect against the effects of Electromagnetic Interferences (EMI) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). iPolycond aims to develop the latest in training materials and resources for the benefit of the polymer industry.

iPolyCond is organising a free training webinar on the 22nd September to all. To register please e-mail Sophia Huda with iPolyCond 22 September in the subject line.

To keep up to date with the latest information and news concerning the iPolycond project, please check the website at www.ipolycond.org
Links to downloads including sample chapters and posters are also available via the website. Registration is free

iPolyCond is a two-year project funded by the Transfer of Innovation strand of the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme. It will develop new training materials on conductive plastic materials for the benefit of plastics converters.

By integrating the available state of the art scientific knowledge and experience of the consortium, iPolyCond will develop, write and test industry-specific training materials and resources on these breakthrough materials.
