Morgan Ceramics will be showcasing a broad range of products for demanding aerospace environments at the MRO AMERICAS 2012 Conference and Exhibition, taking place between April 3rd - 5th, 2012 at the Dallas Convention Center, Dallas, Texas. Morgan Ceramics will be displaying products from both its Technical Ceramics and Thermal Ceramics businesses in Booth1304/1305.
Experienced Morgan Ceramics engineers will be on hand to provide a general overview of capabilities, demonstrate products on display, or provide private consultations regarding custom solutions for specific problems or applications. Those requesting a time slot for a consultation should contact Cal Lacasse on 214-435-6649 or cal.lacasse@morganplc.com for Morgan Technical Ceramics and Dan Murphy on 574-296-3564 or dan.murphy@morganplc.com for Morgan Thermal Ceramics.
Morgan Technical Ceramics will highlight its pre-sintered preforms (PSP), including a brand new line of PSP bushings and pins, as well as active braze alloys produced by its Wesgo Metals manufacturing site in Hayward, California. On display will be samples of Morgan Technical Ceramics' latest PSP dimensional capabilities, which include significantly larger and thinner sheets. Also on display will be Morgan Technical Ceramics range of exceptionally wear-resistant Diamonex diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings. The coatings can be applied to a variety of metals, plastics and glass, providing a significant improvement in both product life and operating efficiencies.
Morgan Technical Ceramics - Wesgo Metals will also be showing its expanded capabilities in active metal brazing, a process that allows metal to be bonded directly to non-metallic materials that typically require a metallization layer. Active metal brazing allows direct wetting of the alloy to the substrate material, eliminating several steps in the joining process and creating an extremely strong bond seal.
Morgan Thermal Ceramics will display a range of insulation material for the aerospace industry that provides exceptional capabilities while meeting stringent weight, temperature and performance specifications. Products to be highlighted include Min-K microporous insulation, widely known for its exceptional thermal management performance in extremely challenging environments where weight is a critical factor. Min-K is available in a range of forms, including board, quilt, and tape. Other products to be shown include the Kao-Tex Quilt composite insulation system, and Superwool low bio-persistent insulating fiber blanket and paper insulation, which are specially engineered and processed to offer excellent performance in high-temperature applications.
