Kraton Performance Polymers, a manufacturer of styrenic block copolymers (SBCs), has reported that the company has planned to exhibit its recent developments in eco-friendly, recyclable phthalate-free and PVC products, at Chinaplas 2012.
According to Prakash Kolluri, Kraton’s VP of Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific, the company has found Chinaplas 2012 to be the ideal place to feature its new technological developments in eco-friendly SBCs. These SBCs can be an alternative to non-recyclable materials, containing phthalates and PVC. He added that the products from Kraton enhance the performance and appearance of the end product, and can be recycled.
The applications of Kraton's eco-friendly products include cable and wire, medical, automotive interior slush molded soft skins, faux leather, and Cariflex Polyisoprene products.
Besides this exhibition, the scientists and product managers from Kraton will organize technical seminars on the innovations such as new slush molding compounds in artificial leather and soft skin, new Kraton SBC polymers and applications, applications of Kraton products in clear consumer and medical goods, and Cariflex Polyisoprene product-based application opportunities.
The company continues to make its presence felt in the Asia Pacific region and China, by its technological innovations and by investing in additional resources to support significant growth . The presence of Kraton at Chinaplas 2012 will help the company communicate its novel solutions to China and the Asian market.
