Tejin Fibers, the polyester fiber business arm of technology driven Tejin Group, will exhibit its polyester products at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012 to be held from August 2 to August 5 at Salt Lake City’s Salt Palace Convention Center in the United States.
Tejin has been allotted booth number MR150C where it will showcase clothing products that cater to both the comfort needs for multipurpose daily wear and high performance needs of sportswear. The company employs environment-friendly materials that can be recycled in Tejin’s ECO CIRCLE facility that is based on closed-loop recycling to convert used polyester into new fibers on par with petroleum-based fibers in terms of quality and purity.
Some of the products featured include the type CR fabric for anti-sweat comfort, type EP for odor control and type DL comfort knitwear. The anti-sweat polyester fabric is suitable for casual wear and all-season sportswear. It is made up of three layers, wherein the outer layer diffuses moisture, the middle layer absorbs moisture and the inner hydrophobic layer of polyester fibers repels moisture. This offers comfort by facilitating improved absorption of perspiration followed by quick drying to prevent stickiness and chill. In order to prevent stain or odor formation as a result of sweat induced alkalinity on mildly acidic skin, the odor control fibers from Tejin are designed to maintain slightly acidic pH on the fiber surface. The comfort knitwear from Tejin’s is long lasting, soft and resistant to snag. The material can be stretched and is not transparent. It offers protection against ultraviolet radiation and has remarkable wind-blocking ability owing to its flat-knit, dense surface.
