The LTT-203 Process Controller™ from Lambient is a
compact, simple solution for
controlling the temperature of ovens, hot plates, kilns or other
heating devices.
Lambient Technologies, LLC, based in Boston, Massachusetts USA,
develops instruments, sensors and software for industrial and
scientific applications. Products from Lambient Technologies are
designed for flexibility and ease of use.
The LTT-203 requires no set-up or assembly; accepts Type J, K, R, B,
S, T, E and N thermocouples; and has a built in 25 amp solid state
relay and standard IEC output socket. Isothermal set points or ramp
and-hold steps may be entered from the front panel, or easily
programmed with the included software.
The LTT-203 software allows the user to set PID parameters,
temperature set points, and multiple ramp-and-hold steps. The software
also plots the programmed temperature profile and the actual
temperature of the controlled device, and can store these data for
later documentation.
The LTT-203 can communicate to a computer through an RS-232C or
RS-485 interface. When using the RS-485 interface, multiple LTT-203
units may be connected to a single multi-drop bus to create a system
with independently controlled temperature zones. The LTT-203 Process
Controller™ is portable, connects to most heating devices with a
standard power cord and is easy to use, providing temperature control
"out of the box" for many applications.
