Trex Company, the world's largest manufacturer of wood-alternative decking and railing, has won four 2013 Platinum Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) for two new additions to its revolutionary Trex Transcend® decking and railing system, as well as for the high performance Trex Elevations® Steel Deck Framing and the stylish and durable Trex Pergola ™.
These products secured top honors from the awards program, which is sponsored by Design Journal magazine and draws approximately 2,000 entries from 500 companies each year. In addition, new Trex Reveal ™ Aluminum Railing captured a Gold Award, the competition's second-highest recognition.
