NDT Solutions showcased by AXT at AOG

AXT Pty Ltd, a leading Australian-based supplier of non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions will be showcasing their comprehensive range of radiographic NDT solutions at the upcoming AOG, Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference that will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from February 19-21.

AXT have been in business since 1991 and are excited to be able to showcase a range of new products at AOG this year.

On show for the first time in Australia is the new Rigaku Radioflex RF-2522 constant potential (CP) radiographic generator. This product enters the market with an unmatched price/performance ratio and is backed up by Rigaku’s quality, reliability and after sales service.

It has enough power to see through 50mm of steel and is one of the lightest systems on the market. This combined with the ability to operate for 30 minutes at 100% duty cycle will enable users to increase their productivity without sacrificing data quality.

Recently, AXT became the local distributor for Yxlon, formerly Andrex, to sell their range of high-end portable CP directional and panoramic radiographic generators and mobile radiographic systems. At AOG, AXT will have on display the versatile Y.XPO radiographic generator which offers excellent performance from a relatively small unit. It features 1200W of x-ray power spanning 25 to 225kV and ceramic x-ray tube for maximum reliability. Also on show will be the more rugged Y.SMART series pushing out an impressive 300kV of x-rays from its metal-ceramic x-ray tube.

On the detection side, AXT will be promoting Fujifilm to sell their IX range of industrial x-ray films. They have grades of film suited to the NDT examination of all kinds of materials from tiny delicate alloy castings, through to technical ceramics and epoxy composites, all the way up to aircraft structures and of course welded pipelines. The Fujifilm IX range includes grades that can be used as direct alternatives for other manufacturers. With grades and formats to suit any NDT application, Fujifilm makes the perfect partner for the Rigaku or Yxlon radiographic generators.

In addition to these products, AXT will also be promoting flat panel detectors from Varian, linear detectors from Detection Technologies and x-ray generators from Spellman, effectively all the components you will need to set up a complete radiographic inspection solution.
