Hybrid Coating Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce that its world renowned head scientist Dr. Oleg Figovsky recently published a book called "Advanced Polymer Concrete and Compounds."
The publisher CRC Press, a division of Informa PLC (LSE:INF) with a £3.1 Billion market cap, is one of the largest publishers in the world. Dr. Figovsky is one of the most well-recognized and accomplished scientists and inventors in the nanotech field. He is the principal inventor of the Green Polyurethane™ platform technology and has over 40 years of experience in the field of special coatings, adhesives, sealants and corrosion protection. Dr. Figovsky is currently Chairman of the UNESCO (UN Agency) chair for Green Chemistry. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the "Leading Intellectual of the World" award from Harvard University, the NASA Nanotech Briefs®' Nano 50™ Award, the Gold Angel Prize at the "Genius Exhibitions," the "One Thousand Great Scientists" award from Cambridge University and gold and silver medals at the IENA-98 in Nurnberg, Germany. Dr. Figovsky's biography was included in the following books: "Who's Who in the World" (2002-2003) and "Who's Who in Science and Technology" (2002-2003). He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences, the Expert of Technical Projects for the Ministry of Industry & Trade in Israel and a Foreign Member of two Russian Academies of Sciences (REA & RAASN). Since 1999 he has been the editor-in-chief of the journal "Scientific Israel – Technological Advantages," and since 2004 has been the editor of the international journal "Alternative Energy & Ecology." Dr. Figovsky is an accomplished author of 17 books, more than 300 scientific articles, and more than 500 patents in his name.

On June 25, 2013 the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), a division of the U.S. Department of Labor, initiated a National Emphasis Program to protect workers from the serious health effects from occupational exposure to isocyanates. Isocyanates are found in polyurethane-based products. According to the OSHA, "Workers exposed to isocyanates can suffer debilitating health problems for months or even years after exposure which could result in death."
