SEMICON China: Linde LienHwa to Highlight Gases in Electronics Manufacturing

This week Linde LienHwa (LLH) China, a joint venture between The Linde Group and Taiwan MiTac Group, will be exhibiting at SEMICON China 2014 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Exhibiting at the largest microelectronics industry event in China, serving the Semiconductor, Flat Panel Display (FPD), LED, MEMS, and related technology markets, LLH will showcase the Group’s portfolio of gases and services in electronics manufacturing at Hall N1, booth #1443.

Mr. Holger Kirchner, President of Linde’s Electronics business, will be delivering a keynote on ‘The future of critical materials supply for the growing China display market’ at the FPD conference on Wednesday 19 March. With the rapid growth of the Chinese display market in the past decade, the Chinese display manufacturers are shifting to advanced products with copper, metal oxide, and OLED process. With this shift, the material requirements are also changing. Mr. Kirchner will explore the drivers of this growth: why there has been such growth in the display industry in China; how the materials requirements are changing; and what new materials are required to support the Chinese display makers shift to advanced products.

Linde provides a full portfolio of gases and services required for electronics manufacturing. The company has localised nitrous oxide and ammonia production within the key manufacturing regions of China, Taiwan and Korea, coupled with electronic specialty gas transfilling and blending facilities.

Linde also owns the most energy efficient on-site air separation plants in the industry, enabling improved production, cost savings and reduced carbon footprint for its customers.
