Demilec introduces Barnseal® polyurethane spray foam for use in agricultural applications. Barnseal® is a high R-Value insulation and air-seal developed for use in poultry, dairy, equestrian, farm and ranch applications where high performance is required at a lower cost than foam traditionally used in homes and non-farm buildings.
"We now have two versions of Barnseal® tested and ready for sale," said Robert Naini, OEM and Specialty Market Leader. "Barnseal® MD is our medium density agricultural foam commonly used in fruit and vegetable storage, barns, stables, riding arenas, dairies and other places where high R-Value is required. Our Barnseal® HD is a high density foam used in poultry houses where it resists chickens and turkeys pecking the foam."
Mr. Naini described how spray foam has been used in the agricultural sector for nearly 50 years, but most of the foam sprayed in agricultural buildings in the past was residential and commercial construction foam. "Barnseal® was specifically developed to economically meet the needs of farm, dairy, equestrian and ranch applications," said Robert.
