Goodfellow and Sigma Aldrich Complete Phase 1 of Distribution Agreement

Goodfellow, a leading supplier of metals and materials for research and industry, and Sigma-Aldrich Corporation, a leading life science and high-technology company, have completed the first phase of a distribution agreement reached earlier this year.

As a result, all pure metals available from Goodfellow are now also available through Sigma-Aldrich. Phase 2, currently underway, will see the addition of all Goodfellow alloys to the Sigma-Aldrich website.

Through this agreement and as part of the Aldrich Materials Science Initiative, the entire Goodfellow portfolio of 70,000 products – including ceramics, polymers, composites, compounds and intermetallics – will be available through Sigma-Aldrich in the coming months.

Goodfellow's products continue to be available directly through Goodfellow and their current partners, and Goodfellow continues to provide technical consultation and support to all customers.

Under the terms of the agreement, Aldrich Materials Science is marketing and distributing the materials in most parts of the world now, with all products becoming available globally beginning in April 2015.
