Chromaflo Technologies demonstrates why they are the experts in colorants and pigment dispersions at next year’s PAINTINDIA Coatings Show in Mumbai, India 21-23 January 2016. Visitors to Chromaflo’s booth M-2 in Hall 5 will be able to get a detailed insight into Chromaflo colorants and the benefits they offer to coatings manufacturers.

Colorants for every tinting need
Chromaflo Technologies will display its comprehensive portfolio of architectural and industrial colorants for POS and in-plant tinting. This includes the Colortrend® and Monicolor™ architectural colorant ranges, Chroma-Chem®, UCD® and Temacolor™ industrial colorants and solar-reflective colorants within the Novapint™ D and Colortrend® 810 ranges.
Colorants need to provide color reproducibility, smooth functionality and technical stability, while having no effect on the properties of the final coating. Chromaflo Technologies offers this through their extended Chroma-Chem® industrial portfolio. This includes both Water- and Solvent-based product lines with broad compatibility across a wide range of different resin types while having minimal impact on the paint film performance as well as the CB/CBX dispersions (Cellulose Acetate Butyrate).
Novapint™ D colorants are developed for water based exterior architectural paints and plasters, while the universal Colortrend® 810 and Monicolor™ A ranges are developed for architectural applications including solvent based paints. Both ranges offer an intelligent combination of conventional colorants that have excellent solar heat reflection properties, and an innovative black colorant to replace carbon black or iron oxide black. These unique ranges of colorants enable the formulation of dark colors that achieve less heat absorption compared to conventional colorants.
Chromaflo Technologies’ in-plant portfolio includes the Colortrend® C & XC (Low VOC) ranges for water based applications. Designed for in-plant production use, their high color strength and batch to batch consistency provides a good base for achieving reproducible and economical colors. The colorant ranges are designed to ensure a good price/performance balance with a number of economical colorants for a lower overall tint cost.
Chromaflo Technologies’ color matching and advance database management software, INNOVATINT that provides complete solution to color matching needs and total control of tinting operations at POS outlets will be on display.
