Shengyi Technology (SYTECH), a world-leading developer and supplier of innovative laminate materials that meet the needs of today’s broad electronic product, announced the commercial availability of AeroWave™, a cost-effective, high reliability material system for auto radar (24 GHz.), power amplifiers, telemetry devices, antenna systems, and base station transceivers.
Made of a glass-reinforced, woven UL-94 V0 material, the AeroWave™ system demonstrates exceptional mechanical and electrical properties with a stable and regular dielectric constant (Dk) and a low dissipation factor (Df) across an extensive range of frequencies from 1 to 35 GHz and temperatures from -40 to +125°C.
The rapid development and deployment of RF/Microwave products mandates that there be a large number and variety of vendors that can provide superior materials systems to the market place in a cost-effective and timely manner. We believe that our new AeroWave™ technology readily addresses this need. With Shengyi’s vast experience as a laminate provider we can deliver cost-competitive; high reliability and production-ready laminates to address a broad spectrum of customer needs.

Product Description and Availability
The AeroWave™ low-loss materials provide a strong value proposition for design engineers of today, with a focus on manufacturability, cost, and high performance. These laminate materials can be produced with traditional FR-4 printed circuit board fabrication processes, and they are suitable for hybrid, multi-layer printed circuit configurations and compatible with lead-free assembly processes.
Their loss is 0.0028 at 10 GHz and Dk is controlled to +/- 0.05. Passive Inter-modulation (PIM) performance values that exceed -160 dBc are typical with VLP and RTF type copper foils. The AeroWave™ low-loss controlled Dk material is now offered in a variety of nominal cores and pre-preg.
Additionally, this new laminate material demonstrates excellent chemical resistance, copper peel strength, dimensional stability and low moisture absorption. AeroWave™ is now available as AeroWave™ -300, AeroWave™-338, AeroWave™ -350.
