Laser Cutting Application Solutions

Two detailed products have been designed by ErreDue for laser cutting applications: NitroBox and Saturn.

NitroBOX

NitroBOX is an easy solution to provide pressurized Nitrogen right where it's needed. Its compact size makes it perfect for laser cutting and a plethora of other applications where high purity Nitrogen is required. It produces a high purity of Nitrogen to allow for cutting stainless steel up to 20 mm thick, complete with a sharp and shiny cut edge.

This innovative product is designed and developed so that fast and easy installation is possible. This is used in combination with the Plug&Play system in order to get on-site Nitrogen supply at the necessary pressure.

Additionally, NitroBOX only requires compressed air, which is already provided in facilities, or can be easily produced with a compressor, and a power supply. This results in significant saving in cost and time. It is down to PSA technology that Nitrogen can be produced directly from ambient air with no chemicals needed.

It autonomously produces Nitrogen that is required for cutting, storing it within its integrated 40 bar tank. With flow rates up to 500Nm3/day, Nitrogen flows from NitroBOX to the laser system. Storage capacity can be made larger easily by adding one or more tanks next to the NitroBOX system.

  • No fluctuation because of the different batches of gas or gas contamination

  • No high-pressure tank or liquid Nitrogen is required

Saturn

In addition to NitroBOX, ErreDue has developed a pure Nitrogen generator that produces a continuous flow of oxygen-free nitrogen called Saturn. It has a very low dew point through filtration and resultant purification of a compressed air stream.

The Saturn generators produce extremely high purity of nitrogen gas, all thanks to the addition of a tiny percentage of hydrogen, 0.5-1%, which is produced onboard the generator. The removal of oxygen, other gases and water traces is guaranteed through the gas passing through a consequent passage in which there is a catalytic reactor and a molecular.

Saturn Nitrogen generators have complete automatic functioning, which is controlled by a PLC with a touchscreen display interface. Similar to every other ErreDue product, Saturn generators can be remotely managed through an Ethernet connection. They steer clear of using gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen containers, resulting in a reduction of cost, labor and system footprint. Production capacity can be increased after installation, by simply adding production modules.
