Precision Ensured Using a Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machine

When working large size pieces, up to 4’ x 4’ x 3’, and needing to maintain accuracy of your measurements down to one half micron, Insaco’s coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is the ideal solution for measuring and documenting the critical tolerances needed. With completely updated software that enhances the speed and accuracy of the process, in part due to thermal compensation, we are able to certify accuracy of machining on all large pieces, including those from our Johnford VMC (envelope size 102” x 70” x30”). This CMM also has the capability to set up multiple smaller pieces within the same test cycle, and still maintain the same accurate measurements enhancing quality and productivity.
