Description

Cadmium is a soft, bluish white metal that occurs as minor component in most of the zinc ores. Cadmium phosphide is a binary compound of cadmium and phosphate, which readily reacts with nitric acid, oxidizing agents, acid fumes, acids, moisture, steam and water.

Applications

Cadmium phosphide finds applications in the following:
