Thermcraft’s Fibercraft FC-200 is a low mass diffusion heating element designed for low temperature operation. It provides a fast thermal response and includes a helically wound powdered-metal wire which is integrated within the vacuum formed ceramic fiber heating element insulation. The powdered-metal wire is durable and increases the overall effectiveness of a heating element in increased temperature applications. It is also resistant to corrosive atmospheres.
Fibercraft elements have a unique design that significantly increases the effective radiating surface, thus resulting in improved heat dissipation, decreased thermal response time, enhanced temperature uniformity, and reduced operating costs.
