Semi-Cylindrical Ceramic Refractory Heaters from Thermcraft

Thermcraft offers high temperature semi-cylindrical ceramic electric heaters that have maximum operating temperatures of 1010°C (1850°F) and 1200°C (2200°F). These heaters can be customized to meet specific requirements.

In the 1010°C (1850°F) series heaters (RH), an Iron-Chrome-Aluminum wire is helically wound and positioned in a grooved ceramic refractory holder. Thermal compound cement is used to entrench the coil to prevent it from growing out at the grooves owing to expansion. Leads can be either standard or braided, and length can be tailored for most applications. The heaters are available with insulation packages, with or without vestibules.

In the 1200°C (2200°F) series heaters (RL), an 80-20 Nickel-Chrome wire is helically wound and mounted in a grooved ceramic refractory holder. The wire can be embedded if required and kept exposed. Leads can be either standard or braided, and length can be customized for most types of applications. The heaters are available with insulation packages, with or without vestibules.
