The FlexVIA™ Self-Contained Vacuum Plasma System from Nordson MARCH

Nordson MARCH's FlexVIA™ Plasma System is a complete self-contained vacuum plasma system which provides a low-cost treatment of flexible materials with excellent efficiency.

It has an advanced horizontal electrode design with a built-in rack, providing an ideal material alignment for maintaining plasma treatment uniformity.

The FlexVIA System features a compact chassis consisting of two easy to access, front-loading doors. Its dual-rack chamber can hold up to 18 panels in a single cycle.

Uniform plasma treatment of the flex material surface area can be carried out in a single step at a rate of 80 to 120 units per hour.

The system avoids the need for heating and cooling, hence the need for additional temperature control or a blower. As a result, the cost of the system is completely reduced.

The loading racks consist of efficient slide out trays to carry different flexible materials. An intuitive touch screen GUI having a one-button start is used to control the system.

Eco-friendly and cost-effective gases like oxygen and argon are used instead of expensive fluorine gases.

The FlexVIA System is primarily used for the surface treatment of inner layer flex before lamination, providing improved reliability and adhesion.
