Dual Nozzle Atmospheric Plasma Torch for the In-Line Activation of Metals, Polymers, and Ceramics

The Nimbus is a dual nozzle atmospheric plasma torch with a single power supply that powers both nozzle applicators. With two plasma treatment nozzles, the device can treat twice the area of a single nozzle device, or target different areas with each nozzle.

Each nozzle emits a continuous plume of active plasma gas (8–10 mm wide) to the surface and can be seamlessly integrated into assembly/production lines with or without robot handling. The dual atmospheric plasma torch is powered by compressed air and requires no other gases or services. A rear panel sub-D connector enables the start/stop triggering of the plasma through an external signal provided by the line.
