TheOX® Advanced Fusion Instrument to Prepare Glass Disks for XRF Analysis and Peroxide Solutions for AA and ICP Analysis

TheOx Advanced fusion instrument is the latest version of the globally recognized TheOx instrument. Similar to the earlier version, it has six fusion positions and is designed for laboratories with a high sample throughput. This instrument is used to prepare borate and peroxide solutions for ICP and AA analysis and glass disks for XRF analysis.

High productivity in the laboratory can be ensured using TheOx Advanced instrument. The instrument is extremely powerful and has a quick temperature ramp up that permits shorter fusion cycles and an increased sample throughput. Like its previous version, TheOx Advanced instrument can operate from 24 to 30 fusions per hour.

It is possible to configure TheOx Advanced with a carriage made of very high-quality ceramic. This superior material leads to unrivalled sturdiness, and the ceramic cantilevers are Cr and Ni free. This option should be used by customers who need to analyze samples with a very low content of Cr or Ni (concentration <0.5%).

The instrument’s redesigned interface which, among other things, enables the user to monitor the heating rate to optimize the fusion and oxidation success rate and also to ensure great analytical performances.

Even though TheOx Advanced instrument is safe to use, it has additional features to enhance safety further, including the mold confirmation by the user and the safety door that automatically locks during the entire fusion process.

The instrument keeps all of the features that are known to ensure its well-known durability, including furnace chimneys to evacuate the fumes out of the heating chamber. The installation is facilitated with the instrument's simple electrical connection (single phase).
