Overview

The new PTR-TOF 6000 X2 is IONICON’s premium PTR-TOF trace VOC analyzer.

The company conceived a unique system made up of a novel high-resolution TOF and IONICON’s PTR technology with the new “X2” features, for the ultimate PTR-TOFMS experience.

X2 incorporates the most recent generation of performance enhancing tools incl. the ION-BOOSTER funnel as well as the hexapole ION-GUIDE. The ion funnel focuses the ions into the hexapole ion guide which results in an almost lossless transmission of an extremely focused ion beam into the TOF mass spectrometer. This improves the instrument’s mass resolving power and also increases the sensitivity dramatically.

Utmost resolution, lowest real-time detection limit and sensitivity are currently available in a transportable, robust platform that is lighter and smaller than earlier products.

IONICON’s ultimate performance instrument with the new PTR-TOF 6000 X2 is the company’s lightest and smallest ultimate-performance PTR-TOF trace gas analyzer.
