Gravitational Splitt FFF – SF2000 G

Postnova has launched a new type of Gravitational Splitt FFF with the introduction of the SF2000 G. The SF2000 G is considered to be the first true completely integrated and modular commercial G-Splitt including online optical particle detection. It is possible to use the machine for separating, fractionating, purifying and characterizing microparticles in one step. The attached PN3000 XPT detector permits determination of shape and size of the particle fractions eluting from the channel.

The system features an extensive separation range from 1 to 300 µm based on sample nature and is capable of separating different shaped particle fractions from each other. The SF2000 G is obviously setting a new standard in the field of microparticle fractionation and indicates a real break-through in Splitt science.

The system is employing Postnova's unique G-Splitt FFF channel which is capable of being re-used and cleaned after operation. Special pumps deliver and then control all necessary in- and outlet flows and the attached PN3000 XPT detector provides additional information about the particle fractions through its powerful software.
