Ultrasonic Thickness Gage – UTG-8

The UTG-8 is a portable ultrasonic thickness gage that offers accurate thickness measuring of different materials, and also scanning of the tested item in order to record its minimum thickness value.

The instrument is intended to be used in an extensive range of industries in order to evaluate the wall thickness of tanks, body parts, plates, pipes, beams or support structures, including condition monitoring of corroded surfaces, even with one-side access to the test item.

The device is available with a user-friendly and ergonomic design. The case shape and material allow for the thickness gage to be held firmly with one hand only during on-site operation.

Due to the IP65 water- and dust-proof rating, as well as the display backlight. The instrument can be used in very harsh environments.
